According to marketing experts, monitoring corporate and brand reputation around the web is now absolutely indispensable for fine-tuning communications strategies. But this is far from easy. Blogs, forums and a growing number of new social networks' tools are making consumers able to influence - positively or, more often, negatively - products and companies' reputation and consequently their market effectiveness. As much as companies and products, also politicians and institutions are exposed to online buzz, while at the same time have a profound interest in monitoring this buzz.
This is what a well known Italian blogger, Luca Conti, wrote on his article
"Passaparola da misurare", published this week on "Nova 24", a magazine of Italy's most reputed financial newspaper "Il Sole 24 Ore". Conti defines the state of the art of online buzz monitoring services and indicates eXtrapola as a key player in the European market. Specialized since 1999 in online media monitoring, eXtrapola now matches every kind of corporate or institutional clients' needs, strong of its 25,000 sources constantly verified, in all principal languages, an important focus on blogs and a combination of human and technological work.
